How to make some meatballs with nuts.  I have always heard my mother, from a young age, that these little meat balls are one of my favorite recipes.

This meat recipe adapted with one or the other meat or vegetables I finished them without question. And it is true, without a doubt, my mother is wise, these balls delight children and adults.

A very popular dish around the world, where to cook it you only need the good knowledge of a schoolchild in modeling clay class. A recipe for the smallest of the house to collaborate and make kitchens like you.

In each house the meatballs are made in a different way. There are thousands of styles, simple or more complicated, with more or less egg, with breadcrumbs, with breadcrumbs, with or without garlic, with parsley, with cumin, tomato, red wine, white … each one has one different way.

Preparation of the meatballs

  1. The first thing of all is to make the meat balls, that all come out more or less the same.
  2. Season the meat, both beef and pork in a large bowl, break the 2 eggs and add them, the nutmeg, the slices of bread without the crust.
  3. Without fear, we begin to work the dough until we make small (or large, that to taste) balls that we will then pass through flour. We leave them on a plate waiting for the sauce.
  4. While in a saucepan fry the onions (chopped very fine before) with the garlic and the pepper (also quite fine). When everything is golden we introduce 2 bay leaves.
  5. We pass the meatballs to the casserole over high heat so that the meat is passed on the outside (3-4 minutes). At this point the meat asks for the brandy. Be careful not to have the extractor on at that time.
  6. We let the alcohol evaporate and then we finish with a glass of hot water over medium heat until there is a slightly thick sauce (for the flour) for about 10-15 minutes.
  7. At the end of this process we add the pistachios and chopped almonds. Let it sit for another 5 minutes.

Accompany this dish with some fried potatoes as in this case. Another alternative is to make white rice as a garnish. It is perfect to mix it with the meatball sauce and without realizing it you have made a great dinner.
