- Baking Soda1/2 tsp.
- Salt1/2 tsp.
- White sugar1/2 Cup
- Brown sugar1/2 Cup
- Cornstarch1 tbsp.
- Chocolate chips1 and 1/2 Cup

- Common flour1 and 1/4 Cup

Recipe Preparation
- Mix the butter with the white sugar and the brown sugar until you get a creamy texture that will give the cookies their structure.
- Add the egg to the mixture.
- Add the vanilla and mix well.
- Sift the dry ingredients: flour , cornstarch , baking soda and salt.
- Add to the butter and sugar mixture and stir until everything is combined.
- Add the chocolate chips and chopped walnuts and, using two spoons, take portions of the dough and form a ball. Shape each one into a cookie and place in the refrigerator for 1 hour.
- Place the cookies on a baking sheet and bake in a preheated oven at 170º C for 15-18 minutes or until the edges are golden.
- Allow to cool and serve.
