Chocolate Chip Cookies

Ingredients

  • Baking Soda1/2 tsp.
  • Salt1/2 tsp.
  • White sugar1/2 Cup
  • Brown sugar1/2 Cup
  • Cornstarch1 tbsp.
  • Chocolate chips1 and 1/2 Cup
  • Egg at room temperature1 Unit
  • Common flour1 and 1/4 Cup
  • Vanilla extract1 tsp.
  • Butter at room temperature113 g
  • Toasted pecans1 Cup

Recipe Preparation

  • Mix the butter with the white sugar and the brown sugar until you get a creamy texture that will give the cookies their structure.
  • Add the egg to the mixture.
  • Add the vanilla and mix well.
  • Sift the dry ingredients: flour , cornstarch , baking soda and salt.
  • Add to the butter and sugar mixture and stir until everything is combined.
  • Add the chocolate chips and chopped walnuts and, using two spoons, take portions of the dough and form a ball. Shape each one into a cookie and place in the refrigerator for 1 hour.
  • Place the cookies on a baking sheet and bake in a preheated oven at 170º C for 15-18 minutes or until the edges are golden.
  • Allow to cool and serve.
