CHALUPAS DE GUERRERO AND OTHER DELICIOUS DISHES
This boat is just one of the many dishes of the rich gastronomy of Guerrero.
The dishes of Guerrero are really varied, due to the fact that three great culinary currents converge: the indigenous, the Spanish and the French.
Of course, the indigenous gastronomic contribution is the one that predominates in Guerrero, whose main ingredients are corn, chili and beans, main foods in the diet of pre-Hispanic peoples.
The Spanish brought wheat bread with them, which resulted in the famous Semitic Tixtlecas and the Chilapeño Marquis.
Regarding the French influence, there are delicious FRENCH DISHES that the nuns of the Incarnate Word brought to the region in the 19th century, and that they are preparing to date.
The wonderful thing about Guerrero is that in each of its towns you can find a great diversity of dishes with different flavors: Acapulco boasts an exquisite CEVICHE; Tixtla, in its religious festivals, enjoys meat dishes with vegetables, and in beautiful Taxco theDISHES MADE OF CORN they will leave you wanting more.
