  4. We constantly stir until the noodles have finished browning, the raisins begin to swell and the almonds are toasting.
  5. Add the rice to the casserole. We let it start to sauté with the rest of the ingredients, stirring constantly.
  6. When we see that some grain of rice begins to roast, salt and add the water. Remember that there are 2 cups of water for every cup of rice.
  7. In some recipes (not the original ones, since logically the dark or black soda did not exist), add 1 and a half cups of water and a half of Coca Cola or dark soda. I have tried it and I did not like it, it gives a very sweet touch to caramel, which is not necessary. But at home, prepare it to your liking. As I said, it is optional.
  8. Let the rice cook over medium heat until the water evaporates. Follow the cooking advice of the rice maker.
  9. We serve as an accompaniment to meat or fish very warm.
