Salads and more salads! Compañeiros / as of the kitchen, this week we are going to delight ourselves with a lot of healthy and delicious recipes. We are in the middle of the salad competition and Maribel Aliaga has come up with another salad invented by her boyfriend Julien Le Roux, that’s why the French name for this recipe: Salade Marinière . It is an easy salad with all the flavor of the sea, very summer, which is when you feel like it. See if you like it and do not hesitate to comment that your opinions will be valued.
Preparation of the Marinière salad
- We put a casserole on the fire with water and plenty of salt, remember that we are cooking them with skin. We previously wash the potatoes to remove impurities. Add the potatoes to the casserole. In about 15-20 minutes we drain and set aside. Peel the potatoes when they are already cold. When they are cooked and peeled we cut into sheets and reserve.
- We put the salad in a source and add the prawns and the salmon in pieces, the tender onion in pieces and the potato in sheets.
- We season with the pepper, oil, salt and modena vinegar reduction, with which we can also add a touch of decoration to the dish.
- It only remains to present it at the table and ready to eat.
If you have leftover smoked salmon, you can keep it tightly wrapped in plastic wrap in the fridge or freeze it, or present it on the table along with this salad. We can combine smoked salmon with dill branches or finely chopped, it is delicious accompanied by toasted bread. It’s really great with blinis and thick sour cream, even though the mix is quite filling. We can also present with the seafood salad a tray with different types of smoked fish: trout, swordfish, eel or anchovies. If you want to add it to the salad, it is not necessary to tell you that it is perfect.
