- 250g. Tasty bright rice
- 100g. Red pepper
- 100g. green pepper
- 1 red onion
- 1 clove garlic
- 6 fresh sausages
- 1 tsp. sweet paprika
- ½ tsp. hot paprika

- Extra virgin olive oil
- 1 l. vegetable or chicken broth
- 1 tomato
- 150 ml. White wine

How to make sticky rice with sausages and tomato.
Surely we are all already clear that rice goes with everything. We can make succulent rice dishes with almost any ingredient. Meats , fish and vegetables are always perfect companions for rice.
As an example of what has been said, I bring a new succulent rice recipe, creamy sausage and tomato rice . In this case the main ingredient, in addition to rice, is fresh sausages.
As always, the quality of the ingredients plays an important role in the final result of the recipe. Fresh sausages should be “ trustworthy ” ones that are delicious, the ones we like, since they will give much of their flavor to this dish. The ideal would be to ask our butcher for advice on which sausages he recommends: fresh, pork, chicken, white or red, according to our taste.
Of course the rice cannot be less. It is important to use rice that is perfect for the type of preparation we are going to prepare. Sabroz shiny rice will always be a perfect option for this type of dishes. Although in theory it is easy and fast, there are fears when it comes to making rice.
Preparation of the base of our rice. Sautéed vegetables and sausages
- We wash the peppers and peel the red onion and the garlic clove. We cut the vegetables into small cubes.
- In a wide saucepan, heat a splash of olive oil. Add the vegetables and sauté them until they are soft, about 10-12 minutes.
- We remove the outer skin of the sausages and cut them into cubes. We add the sausages to the sauce when it is ready. We cook the sausages with the vegetables until they begin to brown. With the help of a wooden spoon we will crumble the pieces as they cook.
- We add the sweet paprika, the hot paprika, the salt and the cumin and integrate well. We pour over the white wine and cook for a few minutes so that the alcohol evaporates.







Preparation of sticky rice with sausages and tomato. Final presentation
- We add the Sabroz shiny rice. Sauté the rice with the vegetables for 2 or 3 minutes.
- We cover with the broth that we will have previously heated. We cook the rice for 18 to 20 minutes.
- After this time we turn off the heat and remove the casserole. Add the diced tomato and the chopped fresh parsley. We integrate into the rice and serve immediately.
